Not a Jellyfish

This is a picture of a salp I took in 2017 on Mount Doug Beach in Victoria. I thought it was a jellyfish but it turns out they’re a “barrel-shaped, planktonic tunicate in the family Salpidae.” It had a funny pink color and looked like a mysterious egg.
