This is a quick sketch of a random strip mall from a postcard from the 80s. I liked the way that the old lights reflected off of the water. I also wanted to experiment with using colors I don’t usually gravitate towards: purple and neon yellows/oranges. I like how the final effect feels a bit like oil and pencil crayon mixed together. Painted with Procreate.
